During the last two years, I have been working with students as a tutor and a youth worker. In the rural community schools in China, I prepared educational activities that engaged youth in debate and general awareness about the global world. Not only do I enjoy working with young people, I also like to learn from them. I am committed to contributing to their growth. As a tutor, I can manage challenging behavior effectively. I am also good at conducting activities safely and speaking to people from different backgrounds. I am able to motivate others, inspire them, and work well with people. I enjoy tutoring students in Science. Both my knowledge of the subject, as well as my interest in the issues that cover the curriculum, form a solid foundation for teaching and allow me to thrive in teaching students this subject.I have been working toward my Master of Science at Syracuse University. Through my tutoring, I hope to be a role model that helps young people keep an open mind to look at the world critically. I also hope my students have the belief and the ability to make positive contributions in society.
