Experience
Taught art in the Troy Public Schools and Substituted in Art and French in Troy, Birmingham, Southfield and Bloomfield Hills School districts. I have been teaching Oil and Watercolor Painting and Drawing to adults, high school and college students for over 10 years in my art studio in Troy. I have traveled to and all over France to paint and become more proficient in the French Language, staying a month at a time. I have also traveled to Italy to paint and study the classical arts. I would like to share with others, what I have learned through my 40 plus years of education and travel. I am passionate about art and how it has taught me to really see the world, people, nature and man made objects with a different awareness. There is beauty all around us if we only take the time to look and understand. Our creations also provide a visual way to express our thoughts and feelings. I read, write and speak French as well as knowing the culture and French people. The more I learn, the more I love this country that has produced so much for the world like art, literature, culinary arts and democracy. Over 40% of our English words are French derivatives. I have traveled all over France and know it intimately. I hope to share my experiences, excitement and love of this country by tutoring others.
