Experience
During my time in University of Michigan, I was a private Organic Chemistry and Biology tutor. As such, I have led study groups and instructed a laboratory accompanying course for Organic Chemistry. I have also tutored MCAT OChem and Biology for the Princeton Review. Currently, I am a medical student at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. While at school, I have tutored the same subjects I used to as well as new medical subjects such as cardiology and pharmacology. I love tutoring because it allows me to connect to people and help them become better students. I like seeing concepts from their perspective and isolating their weaknesses to allow them to overcome that obstacle. It's refreshing to see that my help in one subject carries over to other subjects, and the student grows as a whole. In the end, I love tutoring because it allows me to help students help themselves.
